Vietnam CISG Pre-Moot 2025: ATOMORA
Dec 29, 2024From December 2024 to March 2025, the Vietnam CISG Pre- M oot 2025 will be co-organized by the Foreign Trade University and the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC). The competition will be conducted in English and is open to undergraduates from domestic and international educational institutions.

Dec 16, 2024On the morning of December 5 th , 2024, the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC) and the Hanoi Bar Association (HBA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding which aims to build a collaborative relationship based on common goals. These include promoting research, developing legal policies, training practical legal knowledge and skills in ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution), as well as providing legal knowledge in business and investment.

Dec 09, 2024The UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Days (“AP Days”) series is one of the flagship events of the UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (“RCAP”) to promote understanding and application of UNCITRAL standards in the Asia-Pacific region. This annual event brings together representatives from various countries, including policymakers, legal experts, academics and students, to discuss important developments in international arbitration and related fields. AP Days will be a forum for in-depth discussions on the benefits of the UNCITRAL Model Law and the vision for applying the Model Law, especially the modernisation of arbitration law.

VIAC and VCCI successfully organized CEOs Networking Talk Show on legal management using lawyer services
Dec 04, 2024On the morning of 30th November 2024, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI-HCM), hosted the CEOs Networking Talk Show on the topic “ Using lawyer services in legal management: Current practices and recommendations for the managers ” The event was part of the “CEO 4.0 Executive Training Program (2nd Course of 2024)”. The talk show featured insights from arbitrators, mediators and managing partners of leading domestic and international law firms partnering with VIAC, attracting the participation of over 100 CEOs participants.

Nov 29, 2024Since 2017, the Vietnam Moot Court Competition - National Round (VMOOT) organized by the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law has become a highly anticipated annual academic event. It provides law students with the opportunity to engage in moot hearings as real lawyers, defending the legal rights of parties before a moot arbitral tribunal.
