It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Vu Tien Loc – Chairman & President of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), former Chairman & President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and member of the 15th National Assembly, who left us at the age of 64 on the morning of August 5 th , 2024.

On 27 th of June 2024, VIAC received a few reports on email users receiving an email with the title “ Thông báo quan trọng: Để nâng cao tính bảo mật, dịch vụ ApplePay tạm thời bị đình chỉ” (in English: “ Important notice: To enhance privacy, ApplePay services are temporarily suspended ”). Upon conducting a thorough inspection of our email system, VIAC hereby officially notifies that an unidentified party has perpetrated a cyberattack and impersonated VIAC to send you the email that contained inaccurate information, which VIAC has no deliberate intention of sending.

VIAC & VIART have been officially transferred and assigned the Intensive Training program of Arbitrator skills from USAID

HANOI, Vietnam – In December 2023, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) successfully co-hosted the “Arbitrator Skills Camp” . Subsequently, on December 4 th , 2023, VIAC had a meeting with USAID and a group of foreign experts to discuss some specific details regarding the handover of this training program. As a result of this discussion, VIAC and VIART have been officially transferred and assigned the Intensive Training program of Arbitrator Skills from USAID.
