Jun 26, 2025On the morning of May 27 th , 2025, the National Scientific Conference “Law for Sustainable Development Goals” was successfully held by the Thuongmai University, in collaboration with the Hanoi Law University and the Academy of Policy and Development. The conference garnered significant attention from lecturers, researchers, and experts. Among the distinguished participants was Prof. Dr. Le Hong Hanh, President of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC).

Jun 10, 2025On the mornings of May 22 nd and 29 th , 2025, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) organized two VIAC & Lawyers Workshops in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The seminars focused on Consultation on Amendments to VIAC Rules of Arbitration regarding Constitution of Arbitral Tribunal & Guide to Online Case Management on VIAC eCase . The two workshops garnered significant interest and participation from lawyers, legal experts, professionals, and corporate representatives, many of whom have directly participated in arbitration proceedings before many arbitration bodies, including VIAC.

Aug 04, 2025In the afternoon of April 24, 2025, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law (ULAW), jointly organized the meeting “The judicial mechanism for supporting and supervising dispute resolution through arbitration in the new context” . The event brought together representatives of the leadership of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Court, VIAC arbitrators, as well as legal professionals and practitioners. This collaborative initiative was designed to serve as a forum for substantive discussion on the judiciary’s role in supervising and supporting arbitral proceedings, particularly in light of impending legislative developments — namely, the anticipated adoption by the National Assembly of the draft Law amending the Law on the Organization of the People’s Courts and the draft Resolution on the establishment of an International Financial Centre in Vietnam.

Aug 06, 2025In the afternoon of March 28, 2025, the Workshop 03 “Controlling time for submission of evidence in Arbitration” was held under the joint coordination of Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and University of Economics and Law (UEL), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The Workshop attracted the participation of over 100 delegates, including legal experts, arbitrators, lawyers, and lecturers, as well as students from legal training institutions, all of whom share an interest in arbitration in particular and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods in general.

Aug 06, 2025Continuing the first Workshop of the AMS 2025 series, on the morning of March 21, 2025, Workshop 02 “Strategies for enhancing time efficiency through the combination of Arbitration and Mediation” was held under the joint coordination of Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and HCMC University of Economics and Finance (UEF). The Workshop attracted the participation of over 150 delegates, including a significant number of arbitrators, mediators, lawyers, in-house counsels, and legal professionals.
