The Order of Academic Palms represents the recognition of the French State for Prof. Dr. Do Van Dai’s outstanding contributions to the development of bilateral relations between France and Vietnam, as well as to the strengthening of legal cooperation between the two countries - particularly through exchanges among legal practitioners, university lecturers, and students.
According to the announcement, the French Embassy will organize the official award ceremony for Prof. Dr. Do Van Dai in the near future.
The Order of Academic Palms is an honorary decoration of the French Republic, established in 1808 by Napoleon I to honour distinguished members of the University of France. It is the oldest non-military honour awarded by the French State. While the Order is primarily conferred upon members of the French Ministry of National Education, it is also awarded to foreign individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion of French culture and education worldwide.
The Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) extends our warmest congratulations to Prof. Dr. Do Van Dai and looks forward to continuing to accompany him in future milestones of his distinguished career.
