In the afternoon of September 25, 2024, the delegation from the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), led by Prof. Dr. Lê Hồng Hạnh, Chairman of VIAC, visited and worked with the delegation from the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (China), along with representatives from the Hong Kong Bar Association and the Law Society of Hong Kong, in Ho Chi Minh City.

The seminar “Logistics infrastructure: Requirements in development strategies and legal framework” took place on August 30, 2024, in Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu. It was co-organized by the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), the Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and the Bà Rịa - Vung Tau Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (BV SME). The event saw great success, with over 100 businesses, legal professionals, and media representatives attending. This is the following event held within the framework of the Legal Management Series 2024 (LMS 2024) co-organized by VIAC and its partners.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Vu Tien Loc – Chairman & President of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), former Chairman & President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and member of the 15th National Assembly, who left us at the age of 64 on the morning of August 5 th , 2024.

On July 18, 2024, in Khanh Hoa province, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, the Khanh Hoa Bar Association, the Khanh Hoa Lawyers’ Union, and the Representative Office of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Khanh Hoa (VCCI in Khanh Hoa) to organize a seminar titled “ Real estate disputes in the context of new legal framework ” . The seminar was attended by more than 200 delegates representing government agencies, the judiciary, lawyers, and businesses in Khanh Hoa province.
