Conference “Legal updates in the financial sector: Impacts on investors"

The legal framework in the fields of finance and taxation is undergoing significant changes, with the purpose of creating a transparent business environment, promoting fair competition, and protecting investors’ rights. Moreover, to improve the investment in financial sector, some investment models were discussed, with the model of international financial center being particularly notable. This is regarded as a strategic step, demonstrating Vietnam’s strong commitment to deeper integration into the global financial market and its effort to attract high-quality investment capital. Alongside these opportunities, the new context with unprecedented changes may pose considerable challenges for enterprises and carry potential risks of complex disputes. Under this context, businesses and investors need to be provided with sufficient information to design such appropriate, effective strategies, adopt measures to prevent risks and disputes, ensuring compliance with new regulations.

With the objective of equipping enterprises and investors with timely access to new legal regulations and enabling them to develop appropriate responses to emerging opportunities and challenges, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), is organizing the Conference “Legal updates in the financial sector: Impacts on investors".
