Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Binh visits and works at the headquarters of the Viet Nam Embassy in Sweden

On November 3, 2025, at Embassy of Viet Nam in Sweden, Ambassador Trần Văn Tuấn hosted and held a working session with the delegation from Hanoi Law University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Bá Bình, Vice President of the university, , Arbitrator at the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC).

During the meeting, Ambassador Trần Văn Tuấn highly appreciated the working visit of Hanoi Law University to Sweden, especially in the context of increasingly strengthened cooperation between Vietnam and Sweden in the fields of education, research, and high-quality human resource training. The Ambassador affirmed that the Embassy is always ready to act as a bridge and provide support for Vietnamese universities in establishing and developing effective partnerships with Swedish counterparts, thereby contributing to enhancing the international standing of Vietnam’s higher education.

On behalf of the delegation, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Bá Bình expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and support from the Embassy. He shared that the objective of the visit was to explore opportunities for cooperation in legal education, academic exchange, and scientific research. Dr. Bình emphasized that Hanoi Law University is actively promoting internationalization, and Sweden is considered a potential partner thanks to its advanced education system, well-developed legal framework, and shared orientations in practical, integration-oriented legal education.

As part of the visit, the delegation from Hanoi Law University visited and worked with the Faculty of Law – Stockholm University, one of the most prestigious institutions for legal education in Sweden and Northern Europe, and the Faculty of Law – Lund University, one of the oldest and most renowned law schools in Europe. At both institutions, the two sides exchanged information on training programs, research activities, and discussed the potential for implementing specific cooperative initiatives in the near future.

This working trip marks a concrete step in realizing Hanoi Law University’s international integration strategy and contributes to strengthening educational cooperation between Vietnam and Sweden.
