Aug 06, 2025To begin the AMS 2025, on the morning of March 14, 2025, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in collaboration with the College of Economics, Law and Government, under UEH University (CELG-UEH), organized Workshop 01: “Time efficiency in arbitration under the effect of parallel proceedings” . The Workshop attracted nearly 200 participants, including arbitrators, mediators, lawyers, in-house counsels, and other legal professionals.

VIAC and VCCI HCM jointly organized a training course for businesses on “Contract management in share purchase agreements in M&A transactions”
Aug 04, 2025On March 13, 2025, VIAC, in collaboration with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI-HCM), organized the training course titled “ Contract management in share purchase agreements in M&A transactions ”. The event attracted more than 60 participants, including corporate representatives, lawyers, and in-house counsels.

[HICAC 2025] Workshop "Emerging trends and recommendations for resolving construction disputes efficiently: Practices in Vietnam International Arbitration Centre"
Mar 27, 2025The construction industry is rapidly developing with numerous large-scale projects, leading to an increase in disputes within the sector. According to statistics from the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), construction disputes continued to account for a significant proportion in 2024, ranking second among the areas of disputes handled and resolved at VIAC. Most of these disputes involve large-scale projects, complex circumstances, and multiple technical factors. Given the aforementioned situation and the evolving landscape of arbitration, dispute resolution in the construction sector has witnessed several emerging trends in recent times. These trends are expected to bring positive impacts to the arbitration process; however, they also pose significant challenges for arbitral tribunals, arbitration institutions, and involved parties in swiftly adapting to ensure effective coordination and procedural management.
