The situation of Vietnam’s real estate market is facing significant challenges due to various factors, such as the global pandemic and the difficulties many domestic enterprises face in accessing capital and credit. As a result, both ongoing and completed projects in Vietnam have experienced severe stagnation. Additionally, the retail market in Vietnam has undergone fundamental changes since the onset of Covid-19, presenting further challenges and opportunities for those involved in the industry (the closure of conventional food shops has caused a significant shift in consumer behavior, leading many to explore alternative channels such as convenience stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and e-commerce platforms).
Practices show that the finality of arbitral award and decisions of the tribunal still have limitations arising from different situations, which leads to many difficulties in concluding the validity of these awards and decisions. With the goal of discussing issues arising from the finality of arbitral award and the tribunal’ decisions from different perspectives, the Seminar “The finality of arbitral award and decisions issued by the arbitral tribunal” was organized by Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and The College of Economics, Law and Government – UEH University. This Seminar aims to contribute recommendations to complete law on arbitration, especially provisions of the finality.
